  The first Spider-Man suit, created by Peter Parker, is a simple yet iconic design, made from recycled materials after gaining his powers.

Creation of the First Suit

• When Peter Parker became Spider-Man, he needed a costume to conceal his identity. Although the original story, as told by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, simply states, "He just did it," the creation of the suit has been elaborated in later narratives. According to Roger Stern's 1981 backstory, Peter designed his costume using discarded dance outfits he found and silk-screened a web pattern on it, inspired by the web-shooters he built  ....
