Mudstone

Gold was name as Jasper Mud..

Its soft bitter gold that breaks apart in your hand  if you wash it .

(terrestrial) is alien

The image displays a rock that appears to be a piece of mudstone, possibly containing fossilized elements or indicative of geological processes.

Mudstone is a fine-grained sedimentary rock, and the texture in the image suggests such a composition. The small, round holes mentioned in a similar context could be burrows or indications of biological activity within the ancient sediment. The rusty brown surface, as seen in the image, is common in weathered rocks, including some meteorites, but without further analysis, it's more likely a terrestrial rock.
